Accounts Section

The core function of the Accounts Section is to maintain the accounts of the University and its constituent institutes as per the regulations. The Section keeps records of the financial transactions of the University and its constituent institutes as regards expenditure and receipt of the University. Besides this, the Accounts Section is responsible for funds management of the University, compliance of the statutory requirement with regards to the Income Tax, Goods and Service Tax, etc, preparation of the budget of the University as per the regulations of the University Act, and accounting and monitoring related to the external funded projects received by the various institutes. The Accounts Section also facilitates in the payment of scholarship, stipend, fellowship, etc to the concerned students.
