The Nirma University media relations team is the primary source of contact for the local, regional and national media organisations. The media relations team works closely with the constituent institutes and student media teams across the University.
In a nutshell, the media relations team is responsible for:
a. Creating and issuing press releases about events, achievements, etc.
b. Arranging and facilitating media coverage of Nirma University.
c. Assisting the University faculty, students and staff interactions with the media.
d. Monitoring and reporting the news coverage of the University.
In addition, to the print media, the university is also actively involved in digital media. The Nirma University encourages the use of social media as a way to engage with the on-campus and off-campus community. We recognise the need for colleges, programmes, institutes, and departments to create social media accounts to build relationships with the community.
