  • Institute of Pharmacy, Nirma University bagged the first position amongst all Pharmacy Institutions of Gujarat state with a 5-star rating and overall CGPA of 4.8 in GSIRF.
  • Nirma University ranks at 9th position in the Top 10 General Universities (Private) ranking list released by India Today in August 2021 edition.
  • Institute of Management celebrates its silver jubilee year.
  • Institute of Architecture & Planning launches its MArch programme in Urban Design.
2020

  • Nirma University is awarded a 4-star status with an overall CGPA of 3.91 in Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF) 2020 by the Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat.
  • GSIRF also awarded the Institute of Pharmacy with a 5-star status and an overall CGPA of 4.51 making it the best Pharmacy institute in Gujarat.
  • ‘Outlook-ICARE India University Rankings 2020’ ranks Nirma University as the 4th Best University in the list of Top 50 Private State Universities of India.
  • Institute of Pharmacy ranked 17th among top pharmacy institutions of India by NIRF 2020.
  • Institute of Technology celebrated its silver jubilee year.
  • Institute of Technology & Institute of Management jointly launched a 5-year integrated BTech (CSE) – MBA programme.
2019

  • Nirma University is awarded with a 4-star status with a CGPA of 3.54 and also awarded a 5 star status on graduate outcomes by Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF). The University has emerged as the best-rated private university in Gujarat.
  • In the recently published “Outlook-ICARE India University Rankings 2019” Nirma University features at fourth position among the top 50 private state universities of India. Nirma University ranks as the best private university at the state level.
2018

Nirma University is ranked among the top 100 universities by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).

2017

  • Establishment of Department of Design.
  • Institute of Management received the 10th Best Private B-School and 31st Overall Best B-School by National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
2016

  • Establishment of Institute of Commerce.
  • Establishment of Department of Research and Innovation at Nirma University.
  • Institute of Pharmacy ranked  5th  among the Pharmacy Institutions of  India by National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
2015

Nirma University has been re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with CGPA of 3.18 on a four-point scale at A grade.

Establishment of Institute of Architecture and Planning.

Initiation of 5-year BBA-MBA programme at Institute of Management.

Nirma University received accreditation from NAAC.

Establishment of Institute of Law.

2005

Nirma University became the first private university in India to host the 92ndIndian Science Congress at its campus.
