NationalCadetCorps(NCC)isavoluntaryorganisationthatrecruitscadetsfromhighschools,collegesanduniversitiesalloverIndia.Itisatri-servicesorganisation,comprisingtheArmy,theNavyandtheAirForce,engagedingroomingtheyouthofthecountryintodisciplinedandpatrioticcitizens.TheNCCaimsatdevelopingcharacter,comradeship,discipline,asecularoutlook,thespiritofadventureandidealsofselflessserviceamongstyoungcitizens.

TheNirmaUniversityhasbothboysandgirlsNCCunits.NCC(Boys)unitisaffiliatedto9GujaratBattalionandNCC(Girls)unitisaffiliatedto1Gujarat(Girls)Battalion,AhmedabadGroup,NCCDirectorateGujarat,DamanandDiu,DadraNagarHaveli.Thetotalauthorisedstrengthis55boysand55girls.NCC”C”certificateisawardedaftersuccessfulcompletionofthreeyearsoftrainingandexamination.
