Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute provides the creation of bi-national links between academia, government, the business community, and civil society organisations by funding research and hosting seminars. Nirma University became its member in the year 2018.
Dr Kaul spoke about the evolution and genesis of SICI. She further discussed on the various schemes and funding opportunities open for students, faculties and researchers. She also shared the scope of the schemes, procedure of application, selection process and benefits in detail.
The event had Institute heads, Departments heads, Deans, Researchers, and faculty members attended the presentation and interacted with Dr Prachi Kaul and got their queries resolved. Dr Kaul was happy to see the interest of faculty members in research and is expecting a good number of proposals from the University.
