The Women Development Cell (WDC), Nirma University organised International Women’s Day Celebrations on March 6, 2023. IRS Mrs Parul Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner of Customs, ICD, Sanand was the Chief Guest of the inaugural programme. Dr Reena Trivedi, Chairperson, WDC gave a warm welcome address.
The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring talk and gave insights that how technology can be used for gender equality in various fields. Dr Anup K Singh, Director General, Nirma University was the president of the function and delivered a motivating presidential address. The faculty members, staff and students participated enthusiastically in the aerobics session which was also organised as a part of Women’s Day Celebrations.
